haven’t tumbled much in the past day or two, but I’m on vacation which means I’m not in front of my work computer screen for 8 hours. but I took pictures the whole time and will post them tomorrow (:

Of course, I loved it. What a combination of a beautiful location, a tragic story, and honest characters. The funeral scene made me want to cry. Also, I enjoyed the music. I was surprised by the ending shot… no slow motion.
I don’t think I can call this my favorite Wes Anderson movie (best location though), but it was what I hoped for. It warmed my heart and inspired me yet again.

I’m finally going to watch the Darjeeling Limited.
Right… now.
I haven’t watched it yet because I was scared I’d be disappointed… which for an Anderson fan like me, would be heartbreaking. Here it goes!

i watch a lot of movies. a lot of them make me cry. i probably see a good movie that makes me cry about once or twice a week.
but i hardly ever cry due to something personal that’s happened in my life. i think that’s why, when i do, i tend to scare myself a bit because i know something must be really wrong.

30 mins later pricey cigar = gone
30 mins later ‘08 Mazda = reeks
Next morning:
cigar = still gone
car = still reeks
bleh.
